The VOWAG CARGO M is a solid all-rounder. We follow the approach of a modular principle. Therefore, our cargo bike can be used for a variety of areas of commercial bike use. With its enormous capacity of max. 500 kg (including driver) with a range of 100 km and the large loading area of 1.27 mx 0.98 m - designed for transporting a Euro pallet - we offer our customers an extremely robust means of transport.
We can proudly report that our vehicles are among the most robust on the market. The nature of the components selected by us (rims, chassis, frame and drive) makes it possible to transport enormous loads of up to 500kg payload (including the driver) with the CARGO M. Daily carefree use is essential for our commercial customers.
LOGISTRA reported in an online article about our CARGO M. VOWAG GmbH was founded in April 2020 as a sister of the Sächsische Automobil Manufaktur SAM. Our experience is based on the rally vehicle construction. Our bike was subjected to a DIN test for pedelec approval.
The VOWAG Cargo M has a 2-speed gearshift and a purely electrical reverse gear. This enables the cargo bike to be easily maneuvered using the pushing aid. The pushing aid is a kind of thumb throttle with which the bike moves forwards and backwards up to 6 km / h without pedaling. The engine is able to push with a peak of 115 Nm. The bike supports the rider with a nominal output of 250 watts. The supported maximum speed is 25km / h.
We optionaly offer a universal mobile phone holder as an optional extra.
Weather protection is being prepared as additional equipment. This is expected to be available in the fall 2020.
Independent wheel suspension and MacPherson suspension come from the car industry. They are perfectly matched to a four-wheel vehicle. The comfortable bicycle saddle is designed for particularly back-friendly, upright sitting. Our Ergo grips offer the largest possible contact surface for the ball of your hand and, in combination with the special handlebar, allow a relaxed grip angle.
The CARGO M uses 4 disc brakes from the automotive industry (no bicycle brakes). They are able to handle triple-weight vehicles under constant load in any situation.
Yes, the CARGO M is a pedelec and can therefore drive or park on the sidewalk and in pedestrian passages, just like a normal bike.
No, there is the possibility to choose the color (4 standard colors, special colors according to feasibility) according to RAL.
Attachments and accessories can be purchased optionally and are therefore subject to a surcharge. We would be happy to install everything for you ex works.
